  • How Does An Industrial Dishwasher Work?

The fundamental distinction between a commercial and an industrial dishwasher is that a commercial dishwasher is typically an off-the-shelf product that has been customised to meet specific needs. In contrast, an industrial dishwasher is a piece of custom-built equipment for a specific purpose. The word “dishwasher” does not do justice to the process.

A commercial dishwasher is designed to clean many food service utensils and implements. Such a washer is the RP-3 washer. Just like any industrial dishwasher, it can clean everything from engine conrods to smokehouse trolleys, eyeglasses to cheese moulds, wheelie bins to boxes, and so on. And it can be modified to wash a large variety of equipment in both commercial and industrial situations.

  • At What Temperature Should a Commercial Dishwasher Operate?/Do Commercial Dishwashers Use Detergent?

In a commercial dishwasher’s washing/disinfection cycle, items are first washed at roughly 55 degrees Celsius (depending on the residue to be removed and the detergent being used). The wash water temperature, the detergent type and concentration, the agitation of the water throughout the wash cycle, and the length of the wash cycle are all factors in how clean the object being washed is.

Once the goods have been cleaned, the hot rinse water, which must be at least 82 degrees Celsius, sanitises them. At this temperature, thermal disinfection occurs, resulting in washed items that are ‘clean’ visually and have the bio-load count reduced to negligible levels by the thermal disinfection process.

  • Does My Machine Comply With HACCP Guidelines?

Rhima has created a one-of-a-kind monitoring program that considers safety, hygiene, and operational factors. Once correctly configured, your system will follow HACCP requirements.

We recommend performing a dishwasher safety hygiene test at least once a year. Preventative maintenance and HACCP testing on Rhima equipment are performed by Rhima technicians who have received special training. Temperature checks with a calibrated thermometer, residual protein swabs (before and after), and thorough preventative maintenance on the machine are all part of this process.

We also recommend the RP-3 Washer, a powerful general-purpose washer that has a booster heater and thermostop that complies with the HACCP 82 degrees Celsius water final rinse.
